Session 1 · Zephaniah 1–3
The great day nears, and God sings over a remnant.
- The LORD will sweep Judah's idolatry and complacency, and the great day of the LORD is near, bitter, and a day of darkness.
- The humble are told to seek the LORD before the decree, and oracles fall on Philistia, Moab, Ammon, Cush, and Assyria.
- Woe to the rebellious city, yet a humble remnant remains, and the LORD in her midst will rejoice over her with loud singing.
